With haste, Faeron travels to the town of Farswell and meets up with the mayor.  Mayor James Barrick then request Faeron to assist the party in purging the mausoleum of undead that has recently risen.

The party along with Faeron through the use of clever tactics, manage to outsmart the zombies by channeling them into bottlenecks.   Anaris's well positioning of the grease spell manage to prevent the zombies from overwhelming the party.  The party took some minor damage but eventually dispatched all the undeads with ease.   Even the ghouls that came at the party were of no match for them, as they were focus down with ease.  Faeron was steadfast in his defense of the softer party members and prevented the zombies from crossing his line.

By the time, the party cleared out the mausoleum of the undead, they realize something was amiss.  All of the deceased victims of the townsfolk were stripped clean of valuables.  Allen, checked the musty floors for any signs of movement and found rodent like tracks that lead to the statue of Seylias.  Upon closer inspection, they discover that there appears to be some form of mechanisms involved.

Not wishing to push themselves further as they already exhausted their resources.  The party reported the news to the mayor and rested for the night.

The next morning, townsfolk somehow learned that the valuables that they put on their deceased relatives have all been stolen and accused the party of grave robbing. Several townsfolk that were grateful towards the party stood in defense of them.   This along with Bryseis persuasion convinced the townsfolk to eventually disperse.

With the mob taken care of, the mayor then tasked the party along with Faeron towards a military camp four days away from Farswell to get aid.   The party was beset by bandits along the way, much to the bandits chagrin.  After soundly thrashing the bandits.   The party finally arrived in the military camp and met up with Captain Weyland Hollandoise.  Faeron displaying his insignia and proved that they were no pretenders.

Captain Weyland was initially reluctant to send his troops to Farswell was finally convinced by Faeron that it would be the right thing to do.   The party having succeeded in their task, then rests at the military camp for the night.  The next day, they will march back to Farswell with some of Captain Weyland's men at arms.
