RACES & REALM
This section reflects the various races that inhabit the Irth Ungrae Campaign world and is currently WIP.
Humans
Humanity is the dominant species on the continent of Ungrae. They established and took much of the land after the Elves & Dwarves retreated to their own realms. The Humans were initially barbarians who warred among each other until an extremely charismatic chieftain united all the major human tribes under his rule to drive out the Orcs, Gnolls and Goblins. Peace lasted for several decades until each of the humanity broke into their respective tribes and regional leader started proclaiming themselves kings of their own realm. Below are the list of nations with a majority human population and a human leader.
Empire of Salderia
Kingdom of Corawyn
Kingdom of Weaslinor
Elves
The Elves were thought to be the first race that walked the world. At the apex of their civilization, they ruled the surface world, traded with the dwarves and used the primitive and undeveloped humans as their slaves or servants. This lasted for several centuries until many of the Elves gave in to their decadent and indulgent lifestyle, which caused schism within the Great Elven civilization. This eventually led to Kinslayer Wars that took a toll on the elven races. As their grip on the continent weaken, barbaric human tribes previously in servitude of the elves rose against them. Various other races took this opportunity to strike at the elves and this eventually became the death knell of the Elven Empire.
The Elves who refused to repent were exiled to the inhospitable Northern Wastelands and were regarded as the Drachyen by the rest of the Elven race. The Elves having lost so much of their land then retreated to their sacred forest of Elvander and held onto it ever since then. Many of the Elves who are disillusioned then left the Elvander to create a new Elven Empire.
The few Elves that stayed on Irth but outside of Elvander remained in the woods and reverted to a more feral lifestyle. Eventually becoming the Wood Elves of Irth.
High Elves
Nowadays, even though High Elves are seen in increasing numbers outside of Elvander, they are still seldom seen in human lands. Most High Elves can be found in major human cities as ambassadors or as highly sought after artist, minstrels, artisans or arcane practitioner. In fact, the dean of the College of Magic is a High Elf.
Wood Elves
The biggest population of Wood Elves currently reside in the primordial forests of Elvander however enclaves outside of Elvander do exist. But most of these enclaves are hidden away far from human eyes, deep within the forests itself. Occasionally, humans come in contact with Wood Elves. The results vary and can be disastrous at times for both parties. Particularly when humans desire the woodland and the Elves are unwilling to "relocate".
Dark Elves (Drachyen)
The Drachyen on the other hand are not a rare sight if one lives by the coast. The Elves that were exiled centuries ago has taken to raiding the coastal human settlements for valuables and slaves. They are feared and sometimes the cause of mistrust between humans and elves. The Drachyen however, still retain a deep seated animosity towards their High Elven and Wood Elven cousins.

A character knows only the amount of schematics/recipes equal to his/her proficiency bonus. For example: a level 1 character who is a blacksmith, knows only how to craft 2 types of items.
PANTHEON
Unlike other worlds, divine power can also be attained by
following certain concepts or philosophy.
However, the notion of attaining power without having to worship a
higher being is a difficult concept for most to grasp. The pantheons listed below each represent a
certain philosophy and are thought to be the embodiment of that philosophy
itself. However, over time, worshippers
attribute more aspect to their deities and it begin to evolve to more than just
a philosophy and developed into a pantheon of “deities”. Then there are also other deities that other
races worship which are not as widely known in the human dominated world of
Irth Ungrae.
It is possible that the domain a player is interested for their Cleric does not appear anywhere on the list of deities shown. In that case, the Player Character's Cleric could have derived their divine powers from the following
1. Fervently believing in a particular philosophy (See 1st paragraph above)
2. Contain a spark of divine essence within him/herself.
3. Mysterious source of divine energy, may receive a power from a long thought to be dead Ancient Deity (?)
